02Why the Jazz

Small on the outside. Not on the inside.

The Jazz is four metres and eight centimetres long, with a 308-litre boot — city-car figures. The interesting part is the rear bench: the “Magic Seats” fold up like cinema seats, so a bicycle stands upright behind the front seats. And the hybrid uses 4.5 litres without ever asking for a cable.

Seats that fold up, not down

The “Magic Seats” bench has its cushions hinged at the front rather than the back: they fold up vertically and free a 1,205-litre space, from floor to roof. It is the only way a four-metre car takes a whole bicycle, or a ficus without laying it down.

4.5 litres, no plug

Around town the petrol engine barely reaches the wheels: it turns a generator, and the car drives on electricity. That is why urban consumption drops to 3.6 l/100 km, and the battery fills itself under braking. You need no wallbox and you queue at no charger.

A 9-inch screen and wireless CarPlay

Honda Connect has a 9-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay: your phone connects by itself as you get in. Below the screen, physical buttons remain for the climate control — you set the temperature without digging through menus.

The eco-voucher is worth 12,000 lei for hybrid vehicles and 15,000 lei for plug-in hybrids, as set out in the funding guide published by the Environment Fund Administration (AFM). The euro equivalent is estimated at a commercial rate of €1 = 5.217 lei.
The eco-voucher depends on the applicant's eligibility and on the funds left in the scheme. The benefits shown are maximum values, applicable to eligible versions.
