02Why the CX-6e

The electric SUV with Japanese aesthetics.

The CX-6e has the same drivetrain as the 6e, lifted onto an SUV body. A 26-inch screen, a head-up display projected onto a windscreen area equivalent to 50 inches, 23 speakers, acoustic laminated windows and individual speakers in the front headrests. It is the quietest cabin Mazda has ever built.

The quietest Mazda ever built

The front windows are acoustic laminated, the air passes through a PM 2.5 fine particle filter, and individual speakers with their own Bluetooth connection are built into the front headrests. You can listen to a podcast up front while something else plays in the back.

V2L — the car becomes a socket

Through the same charging port, the CX-6e can supply power: up to 3.5 kW for an electric hob, power tools or a full set of camping equipment. The battery that takes you to the mountains keeps your portable fridge running once you are there.

610 km around town

The combined WLTP range is 484 km, and in the urban cycle it reaches 610. Rapid charging at 195 kW takes the battery from 30 to 80% in 15 minutes — long enough for a coffee on the way to the coast.
